Located on the Sunshine Coast in Bells Creek, QLD, Aura is one of Australia’s largest masterplanned communities, developed by Stockland. With a vision of creating a vibrant, sustainable city, Aura brings together residential homes, education precincts, retail hubs, and an abundance of green space. It is a bold and forward-thinking development designed to support over 50,000 future residents.
At the heart of the project is the Aura Vision Centre - a sales and information hub designed to showcase the community and help prospective buyers explore the lifestyle, amenities, and home options within the development.
Stockland approached us to deliver a modern and immersive digital solution for the Aura Vision Centre after experiencing limitations with another provider.
The existing solution had limited functionality that was unreliable and difficult to keep updated. There were missing elements to the solution that restricted Stockland’s ability to showcase the scale and ambition of Aura.
Our goal was to upgrade the digital experience, utilising Stockland’s existing hardware, that not only elevated Aura’s digital presence within the Vision Centre but also enhanced the sales team’s ability to connect with potential buyers in a more interactive, engaging and efficient way.
We designed and deployed a project app tailored for the Aura Vision Centre, built on the Idealayer interactive platform. Our solution included the following key features:
Interactive Masterplan
We integrated Stockland’s existing interactive masterplan and live stock listings into the app, creating a central point that displays real-time lot availability and other information across all devices in the Vision Centre. The sales team can easily navigate land lots, view availability and compare home packages while engaging with clients, providing a polished and well-rounded sales experience.
Masterplan Animations
To elevate the client experience and amplify the visual impact of the masterplan, we developed and animated overlays configured as dynamic scenes. As users explore specific amenities within the app, those elements are highlighted and animated directly on the masterplan table.
Multi-Screen Experience
To support collaborative exploration, the app works across multiple touchscreens and displays within the Vision Centre. Using an intuitive ‘flick’ gesture, the sales team can flick content from one screen to another, maintaining engagement while moving through different sales zones. Scenes are set up to auto-trigger relevant content to appear on surrounding displays based on in-app navigation.
Personalised Info Packs
A standout feature of the system is the ability to generate personalised information packs. Sales agents can view multiple floorplans, brochures, and other marketing content directly within the app, annotate them, and send personal email packs that are relevant to their clients’ interests. This not only enhances the client experience but also captures lead data that syncs directly with Stockland’s CRM.
The new Aura Vision Centre experience has empowered Stockland’s sales team with an enhanced, interactive and future-ready sales environment. With instant, on-demand content management and seamless email sharing with CRM integration, internal workflows have improved, while the client experience has become far more engaging and personalised.
